ImmCase CRM and ImmCase Chat Apps – Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data for the ImmCase CRM and ImmCase Chat apps, provided by ImmCase Digital Solutions Ltd.

Neither app has accounts of its own. You sign in with the user account your firm created for you in its ImmCase CRM, and the apps show you that CRM. Deleting your access therefore means removing (or disabling) your CRM user.

• Ask your firm’s CRM administrator to delete or disable your user account. This is the fastest route, and they can do it immediately.
• Or email us at privacy@immcase.com from the address on the account, with your firm’s CRM address (for example yourfirm.immcase.ca). We will pass the request to your firm’s administrator, and to our support team where we host the CRM. We answer within 5 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days.

• Your user account and your sign-in credentials.
• Your sessions, including the token the apps stored on your device. Signing out removes that token immediately.
• The notification token your device registered for ImmCase Chat.
• Personal details held on your user record, such as your name and email address.

The case records, client files, invoices and other business records in the CRM belong to your firm, not to your user account, and are not deleted when your account is. Immigration firms are also required to keep client files for a period set by their regulator and by law. Requests to delete that information have to be made to the firm that holds it, which is the controller of that data.

Chat messages and attachments you sent are part of your firm’s records and stay in the conversations they were sent to unless your firm deletes them. Records that name you as the user who performed an action, for example a note you wrote or a payment you recorded, are kept as part of the firm’s audit history.

These apps are used by firm staff. If you are a client and want your personal information deleted, contact the firm handling your case; they control that information.
